Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training
Students will learn contraindications of pregnancy, in regard to asana practice, how pregnancy affects the body and how those conditions may affect practice. In depth look at cultural attitudes of pregnancy and birth, how to address in class and support students. Students will learn how to modify asana practice in an effort to develop class sequences as asanas relate to labor positioning, how to teach pranayama for labor.
30 and 85 hour trainings available; CEUs offered to RYT200 teachers, with both contact and non-contact hours.
30 hour training open to those without 200 hr RYT training, no ceus offered.
PYTT trainings can be held in yoga studios, large event spaces; travel expenses and percentage
of revenue to hosting studio/organization to be discussed prior to scheduling.
Postnatal Teacher Training
Want your teaching staff for know how to modify class, offer adjustments for postnatal students?
Students will learn contraindications for teaching the perinatal body. Training will focus on how to help women with modifications; addressing diastasic recti; how breastfeeding and relaxin continue to affect the postnatal body. Trainings can be modified to students' needs; contact Kelly for more specific information. CEUs available through Yoga Alliance.
Doula Consultation, Labor Prep for Partners
Private labor partner prep class for couples. Explanation of stages of labor, comfort techniques, pain management, postnatal planning. Class can be held in yoga studio setting or in individuals' homes.
Private consultation rate is $150/1.5 hour
Birth Doula, Postnatal Doula
for families during prenatal and postnatal periods
Prenatal support and education related to birth throughout pregnancy; full time labor and birth support for individuals and couples. Postnatal services and links to additional resources as needed.
Price of doula services range depending on scope of services requested.
Individualized private pre and postnatal yoga, in studio setting or in client's home. $125/1.5 hour class; discount given for multiple classes.
Can be held in studio setting or in client's home.
